Wizard of Roz is a Bronx - based drummer/instrumentalist who has been trying to preserve the classic R&R music of the 70’s & 80’s. An avid hater of "90’s music" which she says "has no feeling", she is also an extensive collector of the greatest female bands and artists of all time on various vinyl and audio/ video recordings and refuses to let anyone forget about these artists. She is hoping future young ladies will discover those great recordings. Roz has played in various female bands in various N.Y. clubs for the past 7 years, as well as jamming with top studio musicians such as Jerry Velez, Steve Holley, Kenny Aaronson, Bobby Chouinard, Richie Cannata and the greatest gig of all " Vince Martell of Vanilla Fudge." She was on a brief accidental talking appearance on Yes guitarist Peter Banks’ 1993 solo record "Instinct". Roz is currently rehearsing with her long- awaited female progressive R&R band, QRT, Wizard insists she has the best drummer friends in the world and absolutely refuses to be called a "90’s musician".
